​​In Ireland today, most families are not accustomed to paying tuition for their children’s education. For generations, Catholic families relied on the National School system to provide both academic instruction and formation in the Faith. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case.

Many parents now find themselves searching for an educational environment that not only delivers academic excellence but also faithfully teaches the Catholic faith and preserves the rich traditions of Western civilization.

That is why families are turning to Mater Dei Academy

Mater Dei Academy has become a beacon of hope for Catholic families seeking a truly faith-filled education. The Academy currently serves more than 100 students, with an additional 25–50 students expected to join the community in the coming year. This remarkable growth reflects the increasing demand for authentic Catholic education throughout Ireland.

This year marks another historic milestone: the Academy’s first graduating class, the Class of 2026, is preparing to complete its journey at Mater Dei. The fruits of this mission are already becoming visible in the lives of young men and women formed in faith, virtue, and academic excellence.

Yet growth brings challenges

Several families have relocated to Cork specifically so their children can attend Mater Dei Academy. In addition, ten families are ready to enroll but cannot make the commitment without scholarship assistance.

​

Today, there is an urgent need to raise $10,000 to help provide scholarships for deserving families and ensure that no child is turned away because of financial hardship.

​

Mater Dei has worked diligently to make tuition as affordable as possible. Through its unique family tuition model, families pay a flat annual tuition of $10,000 regardless of family size, helping make Catholic education accessible to larger families. Even so, this cost remains beyond the reach of many deserving parents.

Through the generosity of donors, scholarships are awarded to families who desire a Mater Dei education for their children but need financial assistance to make it possible.

Become an Angel

A recurring monthly gift of just $36.50.

​

If 23 Angels commit to giving $36.50 per month, together they can provide a full scholarship for one family for an entire year.​

Become an Archangel

​​

A one-time gift of $1,000 will sponsor 10% of a family's tuition.

 

If 10 Archangels each give $1,000, they can provide a full scholarship for one family for an entire year.

A one-time gift of $10,000 will sponsor one family for a school year.
