In Ireland, parents are not accustomed to pay tuition for their children’s education. Few large families can afford to.

In previous generations, the National Schools taught the Faith, but today national school policy militates against the Faith, and, indeed, against Western civilization. For education in the Catholic faith, parents have to look elsewhere.  

 

Parents who want their children to attend Mater Dei Academy want classical academic excellence and Catholic identity.

To meet this need, Mater Dei Academy has developed a unique funding model: a family tuition plan. Each family pays for the eldest child enrolled in the Academy, and tuition charges for other children are waived. The cost for a family to attend Mater Dei Academy is $15,000.

$15,000 is still too large for most deserving families – and that’s where you can help: The Saints and Scholars Foundation awards scholarships to help families seeking a Mater Dei education for their children.

Will you be an angel and promise to help educate a child in Ireland with a monthly gift?

If 29 people make a monthly contribution of $50.00, together you can educate a child for a year.

​

Will you be one of the 29?

In unity there is strength:  If 58 people make a monthly gift of $25.00, together you can educate a child for a year.  

​

If you prefer to be an archangel, can you make a generous one-time gift? $150.00 from each of 100 people will educate an entire family for a year. 

Will you be one of the 100 archangels?

And if you want to be a Throne, of course, a gift of the entire $15,000 will give you the privilege of naming the scholarship. 

 

At the opening Mass at Mater Dei Cork one year, Bishop Fintan prayed that each Mater Dei student “will know that you are loved by God, and that you will go forward bringing God’s radiant smile to everyone that you meet; that you will shine the light of Christ, and that you will listen to Him, and become the light and hope for the world.”
