Restoring Catholic Education in Ireland.

There is an urgent need for a new model of faithful Catholic education in Ireland!

Though schools in the Republic of Ireland have historically affiliated with the Catholic Church, the nation is now reclassifying many of its schools as multi-denominational and non-denominational as a result of the ongoing de-Christianization of Ireland.

Faithful Catholic parents need schools that will give their children excellent education and preserve the faith they have learned at home.

The Saints and Scholars Foundation was organized in 2020 to help these parents.  We support sustainable, independent, lay-controlled Catholic schools that are faithful to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and that follow the classical liberal arts tradition.

This is something new in Ireland.  There have never before been independent, parent-run Catholic schools in Ireland!  As such, we are helping to establish a new kind of school with a classical curriculum that holds to the highest academic standards, while also being dedicated to the pursuit of the ultimate Truth, God.  Our current major focus is Mater Dei Academy in Cork, Ireland.

We invite you to take part in this historic undertaking.

“The Church is bound as a mother to give to these children of hers an education by which their whole life can be imbued with the spirit of Christ and at the same time do all she can to promote the complete perfection of the human person, the good of earthly society and the building of a world that is more human.”
