Beginning in September Mater Dei Academy will be located at the Farranferris Education and Training Campus in Cork!
Campus administrator Reverend John O’Donovan and Bishop Fintan Gavin of Cork and Ross has offered Mater Dei Academy the use of the Farranferris Education and Training Campus. Mater Dei Academy joins two other schools on the campus, and will have a three-year lease on the premises.
Once home to the diocese’s minor seminary, Saint Finbarr’s College, the campus provides a regal setting for the school.
Mater Dei Academy acknowledges a debt of gratitude to Reverend Maurice Colgan, OP and the entire Dominican community for their assistance in the founding of the school and the use of Pope’s Quay.
